Our underground cellar of 10 000 bottles of wine is designed for wine lovers. For this purpose we have placed a table in the cellar, to serve as a stage for their thespian performances.
Occasionally I act as master of ceremonies and translate their passionate discourse into the common tongue. Sometimes with a wine maker in company… or just you, your guests and I become spectators to their pageant.

Technically speaking, the very latest technology is used to ensure optimum resting conditions for the laid down wines. Sorted according to character rather than insignia, we house rare treasures such as Navajas Cosecha 1995 from Rioja with Château Yon-Figeac 1997 from St. Emilion, and Vin de Contance 1990 from Constantia with Kracher Eiswein Cuvée 1999 from the Rhine valley, or celestial Chateau d’Yquem 1998 from its Gironde bank home.
Ample space has been provided for future additions to the collection, which we grow by nurturing long established relationships with wine merchants and producers worldwide. We also pay careful attention to innovations in the field and the informed media.
